Mount Sinai Solutions (MSS) is a unique business unit within Mount Sinai dedicated to serving Commercially insured patients, whether through direct contracting with employers and unions, or via partnerships with companies that serve them. We currently serve over 450,000 patients in the New York area, via 35+ customers and 10+ partners, and a wide range of products ranging from virtual navigation services to specialty care products to worksite health centers.

The Senior Director - Product
will lead the growth and success of Mount Sinai Solution's direct to customer business by leading our product development. The Director will build and manage our clinical products to meet market needs and stay up to date with current health care trends. This role will "productize" our specialty care, population health, and customer service assets into health care service offerings that offer the best customer value in the market. This work includes but is not limited to the following: 1) Market assessment, 2) Health care data analytics 3) Product pricing and forecasting, 4) Patient journey mapping, 5) Clinical model research, 6) Reporting and performance monitoring.
This position provides a unique opportunity to lead and grow innovative clinical products. Additionally, the Senior Director will work in partnerships with our Customer and Operations teams to ensure we are meeting customer needs and optimizing our operations success through efficient and smart product builds. The role is highly visible, offering significant opportunities to engage with senior leadership within the Mount Sinai Health System and key stakeholders across the healthcare industry.
*Responsibilities*
- Lead Mount Sinai Solution's product strategy including product prioritization
- Develop and iterate on product framework
- Develop and manage internal stakeholders; working collaboratively with clinical departments to build evidenced-based clinical products
- Develop pricing strategy and work with business leaders to align on strategy across products and within the Mount Sinai payer strategy
- Identify and manage partnerships in "buy vs build" assessment
- Develop go-to-market strategy including market segmentation in partnership with our customer team
- Influence and manage data structures and sources to support product build and pricing
- Influence senior leadership to win approvals of new products
- Grow and manage product team
- Support broader MSS team as a senior leader
- Work across Mount Sinai Solutions and Mount Sinai Health System to deliver innovative solutions for employers, unions, and partners

Stay up-to-date on best practices, healthcare trends and employer and union requirements to best position MSS products for sales success
*Qualifications*
- Education and Experience
- Graduate degree in Business or Healthcare Administration or similar program
- 7-10 years of experience with a minimum of 3 years leading product, business development or partnerships preferably in health care settings
- Experience with leading management consulting firm(s), benefits consulting firm(s), and/or payer(s) a plus
- Strong analytical skills preferred
- Proven experience in leading a team
- Familiarity with employer-sponsored health plans, Union Health Funds, or similar healthcare customer segments is a plus
- Experience in a fast paced, corporate environment
- Additional Skills and Qualities
- Expertise in using Microsoft PowerPoint in developing presentations
- Expertise in Excel, Tableau and/or other analytical tools
- Experience analyzing health care data
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated team player
- Passion for health care as evidenced by academic or personal pursuits and professional experience

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $186, $270,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
