Project Controls Supervisor

PGL, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Project Controls Supervisor in our Chicago, Illinois location. This position offers flexibility for a hybrid work arrangement (remote/on-site) with time spent in the Chicago office.

Project Controls Supervisor oversees the cost management functions (accruals, cost estimating, and cost forecasting.) Responsible for providing direction and feedback to team members. Project Controls Supervisor facilitates process improvements and supports initiatives as needed.

• Supervise Project Controls team members, providing direction and feedback. Oversees training and development of team members. Support hiring process as needed
• Coordinate preparation of and review of various deliverables, including progress and performance reports with weekly, monthly, and quarterly frequencies. Deliverables are provided to internal and external customers
• Ensure process guidelines are maintained and followed for consistency
• Lead process improvements within the Project Controls team and participates in cross departmental initiatives
• Provides quality control oversight on cost management deliverables
• Support Project Closeout and other Project Controls responsibilities

• 5+ years supporting project lifecycle and demonstrating strong interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree required, preferred Engineering, Business, or Construction Management disciplines

• Intermediate to advance knowledge with various software and platforms: Microsoft Excel, SAP, SAP Business Warehouse (BW) and Maximo
• Experience with cost estimating and project closeout
• Experience with documenting procedures, guidelines, and processes
• Previous supervisory experience leading a dynamic team

Pay Range Minimum: $101,743.46

Pay Range Maximum: $165,332.96

The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs. At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
