Key Responsibilities

  • Process incoming customer orders for woodworking or custom fabrication projects, ensuring all details are accurately entered into the digital order system.
  • Communicate with clients remotely via phone, email, or messaging platforms to clarify specifications, measurements, materials, finishes, and customization requests.
  • Coordinate with production, design, and workshop teams to confirm project feasibility, timelines, and material needs.
  • Prepare and update digital order forms, work orders, and supporting project documentation for internal teams.
  • Track the status of active orders and provide clients with timely updates regarding progress, lead times, revisions, or required approvals.
  • Assist with virtual inventory checks by coordinating with onsite staff and documenting material availability or shortages.
  • Arrange and schedule deliveries, shipments, or pickups by coordinating with shipping teams and external carriers.
  • Maintain organized digital records of all orders, client communication, revisions, and order notes within the CRM or order management system.
  • Support quality control processes by reviewing order details before final approval or shipment.
  • Assist with administrative duties such as updating spreadsheets, organizing digital files, preparing summaries, and responding to client inquiries.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; additional education or experience in woodworking, construction, design, or manufacturing is beneficial.
  • Experience in order support, customer service, administrative coordination, or remote operations is helpful but not required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to gather and explain project details clearly.
  • Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail when handling custom order specifications.
  • Basic understanding of woodworking terms, materials, or fabrication concepts is a plus (but not required).
  • Comfortable using digital tools including CRM systems, shared drives, email, spreadsheets, and virtual communication platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously and work efficiently in a fully remote environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to changes in project timelines or client needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $54, $65,390.84 per year
