Job Overview:

We are seeking a Tax Operations Analyst to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual who enjoys navigating complex regulatory requirements and ensuring operational accuracy. You will review client tax documentation, provide support for client inquiries, and help maintain tax compliance for a global financial services environment.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and validate client tax documentation such as W-9, W-8BEN, W-8BEN-E, W-8IMY, and other related forms.

  • Provide tax-related operational support to Investment Professionals, Client Service Representatives, and clients.

  • Respond to inquiries related to client documentation with accurate, regulatory-compliant analysis based on individual facts and circumstances.

  • Analyze and resolve exceptions and breaks arising from the documentation processes.

  • Ensure compliance with U.S. tax regulations around client documentation and accurate withholding.

  • Support scalable documentation and tax reporting processes across business units.

  • Collaborate with internal teams across functions to complete time-sensitive and strategic operational tasks.

  • Maintain a high level of data accuracy and documentation integrity.

You will play a vital role in maintaining the firm's regulatory compliance while directly supporting both internal stakeholders and external clients. You'll gain in-depth knowledge of client tax documentation and have the opportunity to contribute to process improvements in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required (Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field)

  • Relevant experience in Operations, Taxation, Accounting, Auditing, or similar fields

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset

  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work across teams and influence key stakeholders

  • Strong understanding of complex workflows and potential operational risk

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with U.S. tax documentation forms: W-9, W-8BEN, W-8BEN-E, W-8IMY

  • Understanding of KYC (Know Your Client) processes and onboarding

  • Working knowledge of SQL and Alteryx

  • Experience in data analysis and tax reporting functions within the financial servic
