The Role:
We are looking for a proactive Account Manager to join our Commercial/Business Development team at IDR. In this role, you will be the key liaison between IDR and its clients, responsible for strengthening long-term relationships, ensuring seamless project execution, and driving revenue growth. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate across international teams and industries while shaping IDR's presence in the U.S. market.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management
Act as the primary point of contact for a defined portfolio of institutional clients.
Build strong relationships by understanding evolving needs, introducing relevant services, and identifying new opportunities.
Map client organizations to uncover new stakeholders and business units.
Conduct regular check-ins, reviews, and updates to reinforce value delivery.
Partner with internal teams (Analyst, Operations, Product) to ensure smooth project execution.
New Business Development
Support outbound efforts to identify and acquire new accounts in target verticals.
Contribute to outreach strategies, tailored messaging, and lead qualification.
Represent IDR at industry events and virtual sessions to expand visibility.
Sales Execution & Revenue Management
Manage the full sales cycle, including renewals and expansions.
Maintain an active pipeline and report progress through CRM systems.
Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
Provide accurate forecasting and collaborate with finance/operations for onboarding and invoicing.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Bachelor's degree required; preferred fields include business, marketing, or economics.
Experience:
2–5+ years in account management, business development, or a client-facing commercial role.
Background in market research, SaaS, expert networks, or professional services is highly valued.
Communication Skills:
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Other necessary skills for the role:
Proficiency in CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce) and understanding of B2B sales methodologies.
Authorized to work in the U.S. (visa sponsorship is not available).
Preferred:
Proven track record of account growth through upselling and cross-selling.
Familiarity with expert network industry dynamics and compliance best practices.
Interest in learning new industries and market research techniques.
