What You'll Do:

Leverage Your Network
– Utilize your existing industry connections to drive new business opportunities in
automotive, aerospace, medical, consumer goods, and other manufacturing sectors
that rely on tooling and mold solutions.

Sales & Client Acquisition
– Identify, engage, and secure long-term partnerships with manufacturers, Tier 1 & 2 suppliers, and other high-value clients.

Market Expansion
– Develop and implement strategies to expand market reach and drive revenue growth in key industry segments.

Relationship Management
– Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing customized tooling and mold solutions.

Project Coordination
– Work closely with engineering, production, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution from initial sale to delivery.

Industry Expertise & Competitive Analysis
– Stay informed on market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to position the company ahead of the competition.

Negotiation & Contract Management
– Lead contract negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that support long-term client relationships.

What We're Looking For

  • 5–10+ years of progressive experience in packaging sales (industrial, automotive, engineered, or custom packaging).
  • A strong existing network of decision-makers in OEMs, Tier suppliers, or major manufacturing environments.
  • Solid understanding of packaging materials and solutions (returnable/reusable, dunnage, corrugate, thermoforming, wood, protective packaging).
  • Proven track record of generating new business and managing complex accounts.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and capable of working independently.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand manufacturing and supply chain workflows.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel throughout Michigan and surrounding regions.
