Sales Account Executive

Are you a persuasive communicator with a passion for sales? We're seeking a Sales Account Executive to help grow our subscriber base by closing sales and maintaining strong customer relationships. This is a fast-paced role where you'll be rewarded for your ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
As a key contributor to our revenue team, you'll connect with prospective and existing customers to share compelling offers, highlight valuable product bundles, and help guide subscribers to the right solutions. This position requires strong communication skills, a natural drive to succeed, and the ability to learn quickly and sell effectively.
This role will be part of our Baltimore-based Telesales team and is a hybrid role with in-office work required Tuesdays through Thursdays and remote flexibility on Mondays and Fridays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contact potential and existing customers via phone and email to promote product offerings.
- Help customers upgrade subscriptions or select the right bundles based on their goals
- Learn the ins and outs of current campaigns, promotions, and content to effectively position value
- Review internal communications and stay familiar with website layout and content.
- Ask probing questions to understand customer needs and close sales.
- Use Salesforce to log interactions and maintain accurate customer records
- Take and process orders accurately and professionally.
- Handle difficult customer interactions with patience and escalate when needed.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas.
- Safeguard customer credit card information.
- Collaborate with teammates and leadership to share insights and improve the customer journey
- Stay adaptable and ready to support occasional after-hours outreach (3–5 times per quarter)
- Follow company policies and telesales procedures
Must Have Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales experience.
- 1–2 years of experience in telesales or a similar sales role preferred
- Proven track record of meeting sales quotas via phone.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce (or similar CRM) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Clear, persuasive communicator with strong listening skills
- Comfortable navigating objections and rejection while staying focused and upbeat
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Experience in financial publishing is a plus
