Job Description

The Kroenke Group is seeking an Accountant with a strong understanding of full-cycle accounting processes, in accordance with GAAP. The ideal candidate will be a motivated individual who is eager to learn and follow direction, while also possessing strong analytical skills and the drive to implement process improvements. This position offers significant autonomy and a clear path to professional success for individuals who can effectively manage their time and resources.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete full-cycle accounting process for assigned entities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting, in accordance with GAAP.
  • Perform regular cash and bank reconciliations to maintain accurate account balances for your assigned portfolio.
  • Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts to support efficient month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Prepare budgets, financial statements, and comprehensive financial analyses for assigned entities.
  • Streamline the distribution process by preparing cash flow statements, recommending distributions to ownership, and ensuring accurate reconciliation between distributions and reporting.
  • Collaborate effectively with Property Management, Lease Administration, Collections, Finance, Leasing, Legal, and Construction departments to support the company's overall objectives.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field. In lieu of a degree, 4+ years of directly related experience will be considered.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Excellent professional and interpersonal skills.
