Job Description

As a Security Officer - Utilities Patrol Driver in Oregon, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol utility locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your role includes conducting regular patrols and assisting employees and visitors, contributing to a secure environment. This position requires a valid driver's license, as you will be responsible for driving during patrols. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies in accordance with Allied Universal standards, including responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe any unusual conditions relevant to the utilities environment.
• Monitor for potential hazards or suspicious activity during patrols and report any observations in a timely manner.
• Communicate and collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters and incidents.
• Document findings and maintain accurate logs as required by site policies and Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
