Job Description
As a Security Officer - Utility Patrol Driver in Oregon, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated utility locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. Your visible presence and routine patrols contribute to a secure environment for all. This position requires a valid driver's license and involves driving responsibilities. Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with resolution and communication as needed.Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.Maintain awareness of all activity within the assigned utilities location, reporting observations and/or incidents according to established protocols.Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and interacting with visitors and employees as appropriate.Document and report all security-related incidents, hazards, and unusual occurrences in a timely and accurate manner.Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site personnel to support the overall security-related objectives of the location.Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Closing
