Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Oregon, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As a Patrol Armed Officer in a transportation location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. This position is both armed and requires driving, so a valid driver's license is needed. Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional demeanor.Conduct regular and random patrols of the transportation facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related risks.Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted activity and provide assistance as needed.Monitor access points and verify identification of individuals entering restricted areas.Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site protocols.Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when required.Remain alert and prepared to respond to potential threats or emergencies in a transportation environment.Handle and carry a firearm in accordance with Allied Universal policies and all applicable laws and regulations.Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Closing
