Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that food and beverages are served promptly and accurately to our guests. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area with speed and accuracy.
  • Assist in setting up and breaking down banquet events as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables promptly after guests leave.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest requests or concerns.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety standards during food handling and service.
  • Communicate effectively with servers, cooks, and management to ensure smooth operations.
  • Help with restocking supplies in the kitchen and dining area as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to help others in a team-oriented environment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
