Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Expo/Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for customer service.

Duties

  • Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
  • Assist servers by ensuring that all necessary items are available for each table.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation.
  • Communicate effectively with team members regarding order status and guest needs.
  • Adhere to all food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene.
  • Assist in bussing tables and resetting them for new guests as needed.
  • Support banquet operations by delivering food items for special events.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Spot On is a plus.
  • Experience in cooking, food preparation, or culinary arts is advantageous.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
