We are looking for a
Finance Business Analyst
to support our team by delivering focused financial analysis, developing software-based models, and producing meaningful reports to drive strategic business decisions. As a Trex Finance Business Analyst, you'll collaborate with Supply Chain, Sourcing, and Capital Spending teams to model data and improve profitability. This role is a key member of our Finance team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop high-level models for capacity planning and inventory by partnering with Supply Chain and Sourcing.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify cost savings opportunities.
  • Support strategic initiatives by validating cost savings and linking key metrics to financial performance.
  • Perform validation of standard costs, customer pricing, and new item setups to ensure data accuracy.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports comparing actual results to budget and forecast.
  • Conduct quarterly reviews of excess and obsolete inventory for reserve accuracy.
  • Assist in developing the Capital Spending appropriations and monthly cash flow budget tracking.
  • Implement best practices for decision-making, such as vendor payment term analysis.
  • Support the design and implementation of financial modeling software.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed.

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

BASE SALARY RANGE
$70,000–$90,000 annually

The salary range provided serves as a general guideline for potential compensation for this position. It reflects the base salary and does not account for other benefits or additional compensation opportunities that may apply. This role is also eligible for further compensation through an annual/sales bonus, in addition to the base salary.
At Trex, individual base salaries are determined based on various factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. We are committed to maintaining pay equity and consider the internal equity of our existing team members when finalizing compensation offers.
