Summary

Espy is seeking an ambitious Field Business Development Specialist to drive new business opportunities through targeted, in-person prospecting. This role is 100% focused on creating the initial connection, qualifying potential clients, and consistently booking discovery meetings and demonstrations for our Executive team. You will be working directly with the CEO and play a crucial role in growing our market presence and contributing to the overall success of the company. Advancement opportunities are abundant.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Outbound Prospecting & Lead Generation (Primary Focus)

  2. Territory Coverage: Systematically canvas a defined local territory, executing high-volume, strategic walk-ins to target corporate offices.

  3. Lead Qualification: Quickly qualify potential client needs, determining the appropriate contact (HR, Marketing, Sales, Operations) and qualifying prospects for corporate gifting initiatives.
  4. Outside Field Strategy: Develop and execute compelling opening scripts and pitches for face-to-face interactions to break through administrative barriers.
  5. Initial Nurturing: Handle all follow-up correspondence (email/phone) necessary to confirm and prepare leads for the scheduled demonstration.
  6. Branding: Professionally represent Espybox and articulate our value proposition as a premium corporate gifting solution.
  7. CRM Integrity: Track all prospecting activities, input call notes, and lead data in the CRM.
  8. Lead Handoff: Ensure seamless, high-quality transfer of qualified opportunities to the Account Executive team, providing detailed notes on client needs and pain points.
  9. Feedback Loop: Provide continuous feedback to the Executive team regarding market receptivity and successful outreach strategies.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong comfort level with cold-calling and proactive, in-person engagement.
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills and a resilient, positive attitude.
  • Highly disciplined, self-motivated, and capable of managing time effectively in a field-based environment.
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or high-volume cold outreach is a plus.
  • Reliable transportation and clean driving record are required.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $2, $7,000.00 per month
