Larchwood Care is an independent long-term care facility dedicated to providing excellent care for our patients and creating a great work environment for our staff. Being non-corporate, we operate as a close-knit team, often sharing family meals and including our staff in various activities. We do not rely on agency staff to maintain continuity; instead, our own staff pick up shifts to ensure adequate staffing. We have a 72-bed skilled nursing facility and a 95-bed assisted living community. Our 25-bed ventilation and trach unit is staffed with Respiratory Care Therapists, nurses, and STNAs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Larchwood Care is looking for an experienced laundry/housekeeping person. This position is primarily in laundry. Must be detail oriented, a team player, and have a passion for helping the elderly population We are a great place to work We are committed to our residents and employees.

This position starts at $14/hour for experienced laundry/housekeeping staff. We would love to find someone with previous experience working in nursing homes.

Responsibilities

  • Process and deliver laundry
  • Clean and tidy all assigned areas to the standard cleanliness within time limits
  • Deliver excellent customer service
  • Report on any shortages, damages or security issues
  • Handle reasonable guests complaints/requests and inform others when required
  • Check stocking levels
  • Comply with health and safety regulation and act in line with company policies and licensing laws

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
