Job Overview

We are hiring an energetic and experienced Ched de Cuisine / Head Chef to lead our culinary operations. In this role, you'll oversee all food-related activities, ensuring top-quality food production and exceptional service across properties. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership and organizational skills, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion guest centric dining experiences in a dynamic environment.

Duties

  • Lead and manage the kitchen team, including supervising staff and coordinating shifts to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Interact with Sales, Director of F&B and Operations Teams.
  • Oversee menu planning and food preparation, emphasizing quality, presentation, and consistency across all offerings.
  • Maintain inventory control by managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through efficient food management practices.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations to guarantee a safe environment for staff and guests.
  • Collaborate with the catering sales team to develop menus for parties and corporate functions.
  • Monitor kitchen operations to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
  • Provide hands-on training and mentorship to staff in areas such as food handling, cooking techniques, and customer service.

Qualifications

  • 7+ Years Proven experience in culinary roles with a strong background to include catering, or restaurant management.
  • 5+ Years Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team effectively.
  • Extensive knowledge of food production, menu planning, and kitchen management best practices.
  • Familiarity with plated and buffet banquet, dietary accommodations, and food safety protocols.
  • Strong skills in inventory management, food handling, and cost control measures.
  • Excellent leadership qualities combined with effective communication skills to foster teamwork.
  • Experience in hospitality environments with a focus on food service management is highly desirable.
