Cost Accounting Manager

Seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional to serve as
Manager, Cost Accounting
. This role is responsible for overseeing cost accounting functions within a complex manufacturing environment, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and contributing to strategic decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage cost accounting operations, including cost analysis, inventory valuation, and variance reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and financial transparency.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes specific to cost accounting activities.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain cost accounting policies and procedures aligned with industry best practices.
  • Provide analytical insights to support operational efficiency and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Participate in system implementations and enhancements related to cost accounting and ERP platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of
    five (5) years
    of progressive experience as an individual contributor in cost accounting.
  • Demonstrated experience in
    technology manufacturing
    or other
    manufactured product industries
    .
  • Familiarity with
    SAP
    is preferred; however, candidates with proven proficiency in
    Oracle
    or other ERP systems will be considered.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across departments.
