Role Overview:

The Decision Science Analyst will leverage advanced analytical and business acumen to deliver actionable insights and strategic recommendations that influence key business decisions. This role requires a strong mix of quantitative expertise, problem-solving skills, and communication excellence to translate complex data into compelling narratives that drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and shape analytical solution strategies.
  • Apply advanced analytical and statistical techniques to solve medium to large-scale business challenges.
  • Translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations that influence decision-making and business strategy.
  • Develop impactful presentations and visualizations for mid-to-senior level stakeholders.
  • Identify and source relevant, high-quality data to support analytical projects.
  • Integrate and transform disparate data sets while maintaining high standards of data integrity and hygiene.
  • Document methodologies, assumptions, and validations to ensure transparency and compliance.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and analytical techniques to continuously enhance solution effectiveness.
  • Communicate insights in a clear, persuasive, and business-focused manner to drive strategic decisions.
  • Ensure all activities comply with risk and governance standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Data Science, etc.)
  • OR 4 additional years of equivalent analytical experience in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in data analytics or related business domains (Banking, P&C, Finance).
  • OR
  • Master's/Advanced degree in a quantitative field with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong proficiency in statistical modeling, data manipulation, and analytical reasoning.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, SAS, BI tools, and data visualization platforms.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear business insights and actionable outcomes.

Preferred Skills (What Sets You Apart):

  • 2+ years of experience in paid media analytics and in-platform analysis.
  • Proficiency with Web Analytics tools: Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics.
  • Expertise in Tag Management tools: Tealium, Google Tag Manager (GTM), etc.
  • Experience with journey analysis (clickstream & behavioural data mining).
  • Strong SQL skills; Python experience is a plus.
  • Exposure to predictive modeling and advanced analytics methods.
