Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Loader Operator for Snow Removal to join our snow removal team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of heavy machinery, including front loaders, backhoes, skid steers, and other construction equipment. This role involves working on commercial sites to remove and relocate snow during, and at times post-storm, using equipment as needed to complete in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy machinery such as front loader, skid steer, and other construction equipment.
  • Load and unload materials efficiently and safely using appropriate equipment.
  • Assist in site preparation by moving snow/ice, or other materials as needed.
  • Conduct routine inspections of machinery to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance issues.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to prevent accidents.
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and materials handled during shifts.

Requirements

  • Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as loaders, skid steers and other construction equipment.
  • Construction site experience is highly preferred.
  • Mechanical knowledge related to heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work in physically demanding environments and lift heavy loads as required.
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions. This position offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team utilizing diverse heavy equipment on challenging projects while ensuring safety and efficiency at all times.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $ $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 50 per week
