Tight ship.Check us out --> YOUR DYNAMIC ROLE INCLUDES ALL ROLES:Pre-Op / Circulating DutiesPrepare operating room, instruments, and equipment to ensure readiness and sterility.Assist with patient preparation, positioning, surgical site prep, and documentation.Circulate during procedures, anticipating surgeon and surgical team needs.Maintain a sterile field and enforce strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols.Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical staff for optimal patient outcomes.PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) DutiesMonitor patients during recovery from anesthesia, assessing vitals, airway, and overall stability.Administer medications as ordered; manage pain and post-anesthesia symptoms.Provide reassurance and education to patients and families during recovery.Document patient progress and recovery status accurately and in a timely manner.Respond quickly to post-anesthesia complications or emergencies.General Clinical DutiesMaintain accurate and detailed medical records, surgical notes, and patient reports.Ensure compliance with AAAASF, HIPAA, OSHA, and all regulatory standards.Educate patients and families regarding pre- and post-operative care.Consistently deliver exceptional customer service with compassion and professionalism.Uphold Lift Plastic Surgery's high standards of safety and patient experience.Other duties as assigned.Use Ad Vital to streamline charting and reduce paperworkCOMPENSATION & BENEFITSHourly Contracted rate: $35-$45 / hour (based on experience)SCHEDULE & WORK ENVIRONMENTPart-time, contractor position: 16 hours a week min. are committed to the Part-Time position, up to 24 hours a week. (usually W & F, sometimes we will add on a Monday for another 8 hours a week (total of 24 hours))- 7 am to 4 pm on OR days (typically W F - sometimes Monday)- Weekdays only. Occasional early starts or later finishes based on case flowSmall team environment: Work closely with Dr. Patel and a tight-knit staffFast-paced but supportive: High patient volume with a focus on quality careGrowth-oriented practice: Opportunity to build your aesthetic skills while maintaining surgical expertiseREQUIREMENTSMUST-HAVESActive Texas RN licenseCurrent BLS/ACLS certificationMinimum 3 years of nursing experience (and 1 year of OR Circulating experience) required; 1+ years in plastic surgery or surgical center preferred.Familiarity with plastic surgical procedures and recovery protocols.Strong clinical judgment and patient safety focusOR inventory management backgroundPlastic surgery circulating experienceAesthetic eye and patient rapport skillsSelf-motivated, organized, adaptable and willingness to be trained+1 year injectables experience with Botox, dermal fillers, Sculptra / Radiesse (bio-stimulants), an added bonusWHO THRIVES IN THIS ROLE✓ You love variety — Doing the same thing every day bores you.
