We are looking for a meticulous Accounting Clerk to join our team in Overland Park, Kansas. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and focused services environment, concentrating on legal billing and accounting operations. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and legal billing processes.

Responsibilities:


• Manage legal billing operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures.


• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently and on time.


• Enter and maintain accurate data for timesheets, invoices, and other financial records.


• Post payments and reconcile accounts to ensure proper allocation and reporting.


• Utilize the Tabs3 software to perform billing and accounting tasks effectively.


• Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies and resolve financial issues.


• Ensure adherence to legal and organizational policies in all billing and accounting activities.


• Provide support for audits and reporting requirements as needed.


• Maintain organized and up-to-date records for all accounting and billing processes.


• Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.


• Familiarity with legal billing processes and procedures.


• Proficiency in using Tabs3 software for accounting tasks.


• Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.


• Ability to process invoices and payments in a timely manner.


• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.


• Strong problem-solving abilities to address financial discrepancies.


• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
