Assisting with accounts payable and receivable. Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system and maintain organized, accurate records. Assist in month-end and year-end closings, working closely with the team to ensure deadlines are met. Prepare and maintain accounting documents and reports with precision and attention to detail. Communicate proactively and professionally with vendors, clients, and internal teams, fostering strong working relationships. Support expense reporting, budgeting, and audits as needed. Collaborate with team members on special projects and process improvements. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associates degree or coursework in accounting or finance preferred. 12 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related role. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Sage experience a plus). Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills. A team player who works well in a collaborative environment and supports shared goals. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity. Proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting. This position operates in an office setting with standard working hours. Occasional overtime may be required during month-end or year-end closings.
