As a Sales Advisor with Northwestern Mutual you will have the opportunity to learn from our larger industry team, be mentored by seasoned veterans and come along side our leaders to learn how to generate, follow up and close leads. Many advisors earn north of six figures in their first year, with some quickly reaching over six figures on an annual basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong sales background, or innate sales personality, to find a successful long-term career in insurance solutions, financial planning and wealth management.
What You'll Do
- Prospect, build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to help them achieve financial peace of mind
- Identify client needs and deliver personalized life, disability and long-term care insurance solutions
- Develop and manage a growing client base through networking, referrals, and strong relationship building
- Provide personalized insurance and financial guidance tailored to each client's goals and stage of life
- Network and engage in community-based business development
- Participate in ongoing training, mentorship, and professional development programs
- Receive top-tier training to expand into comprehensive financial planning, investment strategies and wealth management

- Bachelor's degree preferred (but not required)
- Ideal candidates hold a degree in business, sales or risk management
- Previous sales experience or financial industry experience is a plus
