Position: Industrial Sales Manager

IEM is looking for an experienced Industrial Sales Manager to drive business growth, lead a high-performing sales team, and expand our presence in the industrial services market. This is a leadership role with direct influence over strategy, team development, and revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to exceed revenue goals
  • Set sales targets and performance objectives for inside and outside sales teams
  • Identify new market opportunities and innovative strategies to drive growth
  • Analyze data, market trends, and competitor activity to refine approaches

Team Management & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire Inside and Outside Sales Representatives
  • Conduct performance reviews, coaching sessions, and regular one-on-one meetings
  • Implement training programs to enhance selling skills and product knowledge
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture

Revenue Generation & Client Acquisition

  • Ensure the team consistently meets or exceeds revenue goals
  • Oversee the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals
  • Support the team in prospecting, developing, and securing new business
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and partners
  • Engage directly with customers on complex deals and onboarding

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track sales performance against KPIs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Deliver accurate forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports
  • Ensure CRM usage, adherence to sales processes, and reporting accuracy

Profitability & Market Growth

  • Guide the team to maintain healthy profit margins
  • Collaborate with Marketing to create campaigns, sales tools, and promotional initiatives
  • Provide feedback on market trends and emerging customer needs
  • Represent IEM at trade shows, events, and industry gatherings

Qualifications

Experience

  • 5–7 years of progressive sales experience in industrial services
  • 2–3 years of experience in sales management or team leadership
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets
  • Experience managing both inside and outside sales teams
  • Familiarity with new product introduction and distribution

Skills

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities
  • Strategic planning and data-driven decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of the electric motor and industrial services market
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across sales, marketing, operations, and engineering
  • Project management skills for sales and distribution initiatives

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field preferred
