Central Bank Commercial Banking team is hiring a Business Development Specialist. As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for cultivating new and current business relationships through developing meaningful connections. This includes ensuring clients' financial needs are met and exceeded while providing excellent customer service.

We will expect you to reach and exceed sales goals through providing clients with effective solutions that meet their current and future needs. In this role, you will be engaging in sales and service activities outside of the bank and recording results. We will rely on you to provide timely and high-quality support to Central Bank commercial clients through sales opportunities and operational processes.

You will need to develop a strong understanding of the commercial banking products and services that we provide. As a subject matter expert, you may be asked to conduct internal training on products and features. Travel within the Central Bank footprint may be required at times. You will be expected to always maintain professionalism. This position is eligible for a base salary, with the opportunity to earn additional incentive pay.

Requirements:

To be successful, we are looking for someone who has strong written and verbal communication skills and relationship building skills. We need someone who is driven to be actively involved in their community, through community, networking, and volunteering events. We are looking for someone who can work independently, thinks outside of the box and is outgoing. A bachelor's degree in a business-related field or 2 years of sales experience is preferred. We will provide training and mentorship to help you continually improve your skills professionally and personally.
