Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounting Consultant to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of up to $80.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee account reconciliations for bank and credit card statements to ensure financial accuracy
  • Review and determine outstanding receivables and ensure proper tracking
  • Update and finalize financial statements for the past six months, including general ledger adjustments
  • Maintain and revise cash flow reports and operating budgets
  • Manage fund accounting processes and monitor income sources across departments
  • Complete and respond to auditor requests

Requirements

  • Prior experience within a nonprofit organization is required
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop is essential; familiarity with
  • Strong background in financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit preparation
  • Ability to communicate effectively with external partners, including banks and auditors
  • Experience handling fund-based accounting and managing multiple revenue streams

Qualifications

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail in financial documentation
  • Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage competing priorities
  • Proven ability to support audit teams with schedules and documentation
  • Comfortable working with various financial systems and tools
  • Effective communicator with a collaborative approach to cross-functional support
