Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing the company's incoming payments, ensuring accurate recording of receivables, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. Your proactive approach and strong understanding of accounting principles will help streamline revenue collection processes and maintain positive relationships with clients and vendors. Duties

· Generate and send customer invoices including both AIA and custom billing forms

· Collaborate with project management team to provide customer invoice supporting documentation

· Process and post customer payments, including checks, credit card payments, and electronic funds transfers.

· Monitor and reconcile customer accounts to ensure accuracy and prompt payment collection.

· Send customers statements and payment reminders.

· Follow up and communicate with customers regarding outstanding invoices and payment discrepancies.

· Prepare and analyze accounts receivable aging reports to identify past due accounts and prioritize collection efforts.

· Maintain up-to-date customer records with accurate billing and contact information.

· Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues related to accounts receivable

Preferred Skills:

· QuickBooks knowledge

· Proficient in Word, Outlook, and Excel

· Comfortable with math and calculations

· Good listening and communication skills

· Attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65, $70,000.00 per year
