Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Coordinator to join our team and drive the successful execution of construction projects from inception to completion. In this role, you'll serve as a vital link between project management, contractors, suppliers, and on-site teams, ensuring seamless coordination, effective communication, and adherence to project schedules. Your expertise in construction management software, project scheduling, and site experience will be instrumental in delivering high-quality results on time and within budget. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale construction initiatives while honing your skills in project coordination and management.

Duties

  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to develop and maintain detailed project schedules using construction management software
  • Coordinate daily activities on construction sites, ensuring safety protocols and quality standards are met
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing construction estimates, budgets, and contracts to support project planning and execution
  • Utilize tools like ProCore and Bluebeam for document management, drawings review, and communication across teams
  • Monitor progress on-site, track milestones, and update schedules regularly to reflect current status
  • Facilitate communication between contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve issues promptly
  • Support project management in contract administration, change order processing, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Manage time effectively across multiple projects to ensure deadlines are met without compromising safety or quality

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in construction site management or coordination roles with a solid understanding of construction processes
  • Proficiency with construction estimating tools and Primavera P6 for project scheduling
  • Familiarity with heavy civil or commercial construction projects is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, or similar platforms
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication skills for liaising with diverse teams including contractors, clients, and vendors
  • Knowledge of contracts, safety regulations, and quality assurance procedures within the construction industry
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
