Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team. This role is essential in expanding our client base and driving revenue growth through proactive outreach and strategic relationship building. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for sales, and experience in B2B sales and technology markets. As a key player in our business development efforts, you will engage with potential clients via outbound calling, warm calling, and field sales / office visits to identify opportunities and nurture leads. No specific CRM experience is required however preference is to be qualified in excel and multi tasking.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound calls, including warm calling and telemarketing to generate new business opportunities
  • Visit local businesses to generate leads and develop relationships.
  • Attend relevant events and conferences to exhibit, network, and find new prospective clients.
  • Conduct B2B sales presentations and demonstrations of technology products or services
  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospective clients through effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Identify customer needs and present tailored solutions that align with their business objectives.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies for lead generation and market penetration
  • Follow up on inbound inquiries promptly to convert leads into clients
  • Maintain a high level of customer service throughout the sales process to foster long-term relationships
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay current on product offerings, industry developments, and sales techniques

Experience

  • 0-3 yrs proven experience in B2B sales, inside sales, or technology sales roles.
  • 0-1 yrs of experience working in the Medical or Health Insurance space.
  • Demonstrated success in outbound calling, warm calling, and telemarketing campaigns.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Background in customer service or technical sales is highly desirable
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
  • Prior experience in marketing or business development roles is a plus
