What Youll Do

Financial Planning & Analysis:

• Build sophisticated forecasting models that shape the financial roadmap.
• Produce impactful monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with real insights.
• Analyze data to identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue growth, and process improvement.
• Collaborate with leadership on budgeting and long-term planning.
• Design KPI dashboards that provide real-time visibility into performance.
• Lead ad hoc financial analysis and modeling to support strategic decisions.

Accounting Operations:

• Manage smooth and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
• Perform precise bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Handle accruals to ensure GAAP compliance and statement integrity.
• Run accounting operations with a Controller-level mindset.

Systems & Data Management:

• Act as the in-house pro for Restaurant365 and integrate tools like Toast, Excel, and Power BI.
• Build data-driven dashboards and tools to support smarter decision-making.
• Ensure system-generated reports are accurate and reliable.
• Automate workflows to drive efficiency across finance operations.

Reporting & Compliance:

• Present financial reports to senior leadership in a clear, compelling way.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
• Lead external audits and prepare necessary reports.
• Maintain audit-ready financial documentation.

Process Improvement:

• Identify and present cost-saving opportunities with confidence.
• Streamline financial workflows for improved performance
• Establish and document policies and procedures that support financial success

What Youll Bring

Accounting Expertise:

• Strong experience managing full month-end close, reconciliations, accruals, and financials.
• Deep knowledge of GAAP and financial compliance standards.

Financial Modeling & Analysis:

• Advanced forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis skills.
• Ability to derive actionable insights from complex data.

Systems Proficiency:

• Experience with Restaurant365 (R365) is required.
• Familiarity with tools like Toast, Excel, and Power BI is a plus.
• A passion for leveraging technology to elevate financial operations.

Communication & Collaboration:

• Ability to translate financial data into stories everyone can understand.
• Team-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

Strategic Thinking:

• Analytical, solutions-oriented, and always looking at the big picture.
• Adept at identifying and driving opportunities for financial impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and accounting operations.
• Experience in multi-unit restaurant, hospitality, or retail environments.
• Proven track record of dashboard development and KPI tracking.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with financial systems.
