This is a shared room position with 2-3 other therapists.

We are a client focused results driven massage therapy practice. Our intent is to bring on (2) additional massage therapists who enjoy connecting with clients, helping them with their aches and pains, maintaining a good relationship, and focused on their goals.

Our intent is not for long hours or shifts. Our goal is to support massage therapist's life goals in every way. We do not wish to overwork or over schedule.

It's all about the quality of care we are able to give our community.

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques and be dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing personalized treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic massage services to enhance overall well-being.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and health conditions.
  • Utilize various massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management strategies.
  • Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on patient assessments and preferences.
  • Maintain a clean and organized treatment environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Educate patients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide guidance on self-care practices.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in massage therapy techniques and industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Experience in pain management, occupational health, or working in a medical spa setting is preferred.
  • Excellent patient service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Familiarity with various massage modalities and techniques, including trigger point therapy and deep tissue massage.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and education in the field of massage therapy.
