Accounting Position – Finance Department

An award-winning and beautiful private condominium community in Coconut Creek, Florida, is seeking a dependable, hard-working, and self-motivated individual to join our Finance Department.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine accounting, data entry, and clerical tasks.
  • Process daily cash and check deposits; prepare month-end balances.
  • Handle online bank transfers and weekly ACH transfers.
  • Enter daily transactions into QuickBooks.
  • Complete bank reconciliations.
  • Post payments, run edit lists, verify accuracy, and reconcile to bank deposits.
  • Respond to phone inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
  • Manage and maintain department files.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Solid understanding of accounting principles.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to teamwork.
  • High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Problem-solving ability, adaptability, and initiative.

Required Experience and Training:

  • Associate degree required.
  • Minimum of two years' prior experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
