The LDM Group is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Caregiver or CNA to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential care and support to the elderly. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring the comfort and well-being of our residents. An active CPR highly desired.

Our immediate opening requires working Mon-Thur from 8am to 1pm (must have flexibility to accommodate doctor appointments). Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Meal Planning and Preparation (breakfast, lunch, dinner) - Daily
  • Weekly Laundry (washing clothes, bedding, towels, mats)
  • Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Medications reminders as directed adhering to safety protocols.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive environment.
  • Assist in mobility and transportation of residents within the facility.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of home.
  • Assist with light exercise routines (stretching, walking, etc.)
  • Transportation to and from doctor appointments
  • Run errands (grocery shopping, pharmacy, etc)
  • Create fun activities (painting, games, easter egg dying, Christmas ornaments, etc)
  • Step outside the box to Go-the-Extra-Mile

Experience

  • Previous experience in a nursing home or private home environment
  • Experience in memory care or dementia care settings is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment are essential.
  • Knowledge of home community care systems is beneficial for understanding resident needs.
