Juniper is Growing We are seeking an Accounting Manager for our Corporate Accounting Team. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, this position will be responsible for assisting with hands-on closing multiple branch books and working closely with various people on the accounting team.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed reconciliations around AP, AR, Fixed Asset, Debt and Payroll accounts as needed.
  • Support AP, AR, Treasury with accounting expertise as needed.
  • Offer analysis and detailed reporting of financial information on a timely basis.
  • Assist with preparation of budgets and comparative monthly financial reports.
  • Provide support during financial audits.
  • Follow and adhere to month-end and year-end closing process.
  • Prepare journal, adjusting, and closing entries as required.
  • Assist as needed on acquisitions and integration of accounting systems and policies with newly acquired businesses.
  • Special projects as assigned, including potential accounting system change projects.

Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree in accounting or finance expected; advanced education and/or certifications a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a strong accounting or related role preferred.
  • Experience with core FP&A components (budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis)
  • Strong knowledge of financial systems and technology solutions. Acumatica and/or Aspire experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Advanced use of MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint experience preferred; intermediate skills required.
