Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Atlanta, GA, for a Public Health Analyst. The role involves implementing complex international programs, delivering quality programs in collaboration with Ministries of Health, performing literature reviews, analyzing public health programs for improvement and sustainability, and contributing to the development and implementation of new health initiatives. The Public Health Analyst will also work closely with teams and partners to support public health initiatives and research to deliver evidence-based recommendations. You must be a critical thinker who is willing to contribute to IG's global initiatives.

Qualifications:

BEFORE YOU APPLY - YOU MUST BE A US CITIZEN AND WILLING TO COME INTO THE OFFICE IN ATLANTA, GA AT LEAST THREE DAYS A WEEK.

  • A master's degree in public health, healthcare delivery sciences, health education, or development practice from an accredited institution, or equivalent professional experience
  • In-country project implementation experience is strongly preffered
  • Minimum 2 years of experience (5 years if lacking a relevant advanced degree) developing, implementing, and evaluating public health programs and scientific studies/surveys designed to improve public health programs in low- and middle-income countries
  • Strong experience managing and developing work plans and budgets
  • Ability to navigate government processes with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare and deliver compelling proposals, reports, and presentations
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to effectively communicate results of analyses to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to solve challenging problems without extensive structural or operational support
  • Able to adapt to fast-paced and changing environments, both internally and externally
  • Technical proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel up to 30% for multiple weeks at a time
  • Proficiency in multiple languages a plus
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the United States
