About Us:

We are a rapidly growing hospitality and retail group expanding our footprint across Texas. We specialize in high-quality interior tenant build-outs and are looking for a skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee multiple ongoing and upcoming projects. This role is critical to ensuring that every build is completed on time, on budget, and to our brand standards.

Role Overview:

The Construction Project Manager will lead all phases of tenant improvement projects—from site evaluation and bidding to punch list and handoff. You will manage contractors, vendors, schedules, budgets, and quality control while maintaining clear communication with internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day management of tenant build-out projects across multiple locations
  • Coordinate and manage general contractors, subcontractors, architects, and vendors
  • Conduct site visits to ensure construction progress aligns with schedule and quality expectations
  • Prepare and maintain project budgets, cost reports, and timelines
  • Review drawings, plans, and permit requirements; work with permitting agencies when needed
  • Quickly identify issues and implement solutions to keep projects on track
  • Ensure all work complies with local building codes, ADA standards, and brand specifications
  • Provide regular progress updates to leadership and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of construction project management experience (hospitality, restaurant, retail, or tenant improvements strongly preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes, building codes, and permitting
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in project management tools (Procore, Buildertrend, or equivalent)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing franchise or multi-unit buildouts
  • Existing relationships with Houston-area subcontractors and vendors
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
