Position Summary

The Construction Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all phases of construction projects, from planning and scheduling to execution and completion. This role involves coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, construction knowledge, and problem-solving ability, and be committed to safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise all aspects of residential and commercial construction projects.
  • Create and manage project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to ensure project goals are met.
  • Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate execution.
  • Monitor quality control, safety standards, and compliance with local building codes.
  • Prepare regular reports on project status, progress, and costs.
  • Identify potential risks, issues, or delays and develop solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and labor for projects.
  • Mentor and supervise on-site teams, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure proper maintenance of equipment and tools.
  • Ensure projects meet client expectations and company standards for quality and safety.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in construction project management or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to read blueprints, plans, and technical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work on-site at construction locations across Houston.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

  • Experience managing residential and commercial projects.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, OSHA compliance, and risk management.
  • Budgeting, scheduling, and procurement expertise.
  • Experience working with subcontractors and construction teams.
