Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for seasonal offerings.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other cooking tools.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
  • Uphold high standards of quality in food presentation and flavor.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a line cook or similar role within the restaurant or food service industry is preferred.
  • Strong culinary skills, including meal preparation, cooking techniques, and knife skills.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
