Job Summary
DBE Compliance Specialist (DCS) position supports ADOT customers and Procurement staff on federal solicitations. This includes development, review, approval, reporting and auditing of activities related to federal requirements.
This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Job Duties
Attend post award meetings to provide the reporting and DBE system requirements to the Contractor and ADOT customer. Ensure that all parties are aware of their responsibility for federal reporting; subcontractor and payment information and close out documentation. Ensure the required contract information is entered in the DBE system and notifies all interested parties.
Attends planning meeting with Procurement Officer/ADOT customer for all federally funded procurement activities. Assists in obtaining required DBE goal from BECO. Using knowledge of procurement rules, statutes, policies, procedures and DBE and Federal requirements, provides required language/documents to incorporate into solicitations/contracts. Partners with BECO/federal agency contacts for additional language requirements.
Serves as a liaison between Procurement and BECO, Civil Rights Title VI Program, Field Reports, LPA and other areas that work with federally funded procurement projects.

- ADOA's E-Procurement system for sourcing, contracting and purchasing.
- ADOT and ADOA policies, procedures, rules and the Arizona Procurement Code.
- BECO Disadvantaged Business and Civil Rights Title VI program requirements and practices.

Selective Preference(s)
Government procurement experience preferred.

This position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job, and the following requirements apply. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver's license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver's license record checks. The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver's license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R
