Senior Pricing Analyst

Opportunity:

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst to support our Huntsville, AL location.

Duties:

• This position is responsible for working with multiple functional areas (program, business mgt, business development, capture) to interpret and respond to requests for proposals, ROMs, and other requests for pricing or proposals.
• This position will require comprehensive knowledge of FAR/DFARs compliance, PeopleTec Estimating System compliance, competitive proposal pricing strategies, negotiation support, and strong analytical skills.
• Additional skills that make an applicant successful in this role include strong computer skills (excel pivot tables and formulas, Powerpoint), strong leadership and communication skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, risk assessment skills, and general business acumen.
• Typical activities will include leading pricing through the process of understanding RFP requirements, developing estimates for labor/mat'l/subcontractors/travel/ODCs, evaluating BOEs for logic and compliance, and development of the final submission artifacts such as cost volume and various supporting documentation artifacts.
• Activities will also include supporting approval processes with senior leadership, presenting to various levels of leadership, evaluating the overall risk posture and business deal, supporting negotiations, and supporting the program through award and certification.
• Throughout these processes there will be focus on compliance (FAR/DFAR, Estimating System, RFP compliance) to ensure the overall health and approval status of our Estimating System.

Qualifications:

Required Skills/Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in a related field.
• Proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Work, PowerPoint
• Working Knowledge of FAR, DFAR, TINA and other Government procurement regualtions as they pertain to bid/costing proposals
• Experience in bidding to different contract types (FFP, CPFF, T&M)
• Price to Win Research Experience (USASpending, FPDS)
• Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to meet goals and deadlines accurately and on time in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to work productively under minimal supervision and follow instructions (oral and written).
• Ideal candidate must be able to work cooperatively with others and maintain effective work relationships with all those contacted in the course of performing required duties.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and proprietary information.
• Other duties as assigned by the company CFO and management.

Education Requirements:

• A completed Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited university is required.
