The Business Intelligence Analyst develops and maintains dashboards and analytical tools to evaluate business performance, track KPIs, and identify trends. You'll partner with stakeholders across the organization to translate business needs into actionable data solutions, administering and optimizing Looker to improve efficiency and enable data-driven decisions.

Location/Schedule: This role is based at our Salt Lake City Headquarters with a 4-day hybrid in-office schedule.

Position Summary & Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • The Business Intelligence Analyst builds and maintains analytics assets, partners with stakeholders to address reporting needs, and leverages the Looker platform to automate calculations and improve reporting processes across the organization.
  • Build and maintain analytics tools and dashboards to evaluate business performance, identify trends, and track KPIs
  • Collaborate with the data team and other technical experts to understand complex data sets
  • Partner with stakeholders to translate business questions into reporting solutions
  • Administer, maintain, and optimize the Looker platform
  • Automate calculations and reporting processes to improve efficiency and decision-making
  • Continuously identify opportunities to enhance reporting, analytics, and business insights

You'll be a great fit for this adventure if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1+ years of relevant analytical or BI experience
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting platforms (Looker preferred)
  • Ability to translate business needs into actionable data solutions
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Bonus points if you also bring:

  • Experience automating reporting processes or building complex calculations
  • Prior exposure to business performance analysis or KPI tracking
  • Advanced Excel, SQL, or other analytical tool proficiency

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay Range: $58,000 - $70,000 + DOE and Bonus Opportunities

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
