Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality patient care and have a strong background in various dental procedures. This role requires proficiency in both general and specialized dentistry, with an emphasis on patient assessment, treatment planning, and ongoing care.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
  • Perform a variety of dental procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics.
  • Utilize advanced techniques in pediatric dentistry to provide care for younger patients.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in a four-handed dentistry environment to enhance patient experience.
  • Utilize dental software systems such as Eaglesoft for patient management and record keeping.
  • Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies.
  • Stay current with advancements in dental technology and treatment methodologies.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid dental license to practice in the state.
  • Proficiency in dental terminology and anatomy knowledge is essential.
  • Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and dental fabrication processes is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
