As our firm continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join our team remotely. This position is ideal for an attorney who values flexibility, litigation experience, and the opportunity to handle impactful personal injury cases from start to finish.

The position is fully remote apart from the occasional need to appear at in-person depositions (when requested by defense counsel), mediations, hearings, and trials in the Metro-Atlanta area (expected 2-3 times per month).

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Litigation

  • Serve as the primary client contact from intake through resolution.
  • Draft and send demand letters; negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters.
  • Work with providers to negotiate medical bills and liens to maximize client recovery.

Litigation

  • Prepare and file pleadings, motions, discovery, and related litigation documents.
  • Organize and prepare cases for hearings, mediations, and trials.
  • Attend occasional court hearings, depositions, and mediations (with or without senior counsel)
  • Represent clients in Magistrate Court proceedings when needed.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in Georgia
  • Some experience in personal injury litigation preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Georgia tort law, medical terminology, and personal injury litigation procedure
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and client-interaction skills
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities
  • Ability to manage cases independently in a remote environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with legal software and databases
  • Professional, team-oriented, and client-focused mindset
