Litigation Paralegal Opportunity with Adams & Martin Group

Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a distinguished legal firm to find a skilled Litigation Paralegal to join their team. This role is focused on providing crucial support to attorneys dealing with employment-related disputes. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and capable of handling a range of legal and administrative tasks to ensure seamless operations.

Responsibilities:

The Litigation Paralegal will assist attorneys with legal and administrative tasks for employment-related disputes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Legal research and writing: Conduct legal research on statutes, case law, and regulations; draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs; and proofread documents for accuracy and compliance with court rules.
  • Case and file management: Organize and maintain case files, track deadlines, and manage litigation calendars for hearings, depositions, and filings.
  • Discovery: Assist with the discovery process, which includes organizing discovery materials, summarizing depositions, and managing evidence.
  • Client and witness interaction: Interview clients and witnesses to gather information, and serve as a communication liaison between attorneys, clients, and other parties.
  • Trial preparation: Help prepare for trials by organizing exhibits and documents, and provide support to attorneys during hearings and trials.
  • Administrative support: Handle administrative duties such as document filing, answering client inquiries, and potentially processing attorney billing and time records.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in legal research and writing.
  • Experience with legal software and databases, including eDiscovery technology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.

Requirements:

This position requires work from Monday through Friday during regular business hours.

Benefits:

The position offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
