Role Overview

We are seeking a Property Management Associate to support daily operations and provide administrative assistance for a portfolio of commercial properties. This role will be split between the Museum Tower office (50%), downtown Reno (40%), and site visits to nearby properties (10%).

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable handling a mix of administrative tasks, tenant interactions, and property oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Provide front-line support at assigned office locations, including assisting visitors and granting property access.
  • Perform invoice coding, processing, and administrative reporting with high accuracy.
  • Assist in preparing, drafting, and distributing tenant notices and communications.
  • Monitor building operations and assist with basic property inspections.
  • Drive to and check on assigned properties in Reno and Sparks (mileage reimbursable).
  • Support the property management team with projects, record-keeping, and documentation.
  • Assist with tenant and vendor coordination as needed.

Qualifications

Must-Have Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to draft professional tenant communications

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Proficiency in Excel and MS Office Suite
  • Experience with property management systems (MRI, Yardi, or similar)

Experience: 2–5 years in property management, real estate, or administrative support

Education: Bachelor's degree preferred

Software Skills: MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Adobe

Team & Environment

  • Collaborative team of 3 professionals
  • Based at Museum Tower, with time split between office support and property visits

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $ $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
