Provides routine technical and administrative support. Reviews, scans, files, organizes, and maintains technical records in servers, OnBase, and Enterprise Contract Management System (eCMS). Technical records include: Engineering studies, legal agreements, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), consultant summary reports, contract agreements, bid awards, pay applications (apps), invoices, etc. Assists with ordering office supplies, scheduling meetings, taking meeting notes, and making proper travel arrangements for seminars attended by Division staff. Assists with agenda items by tracking review and submission status. Provides secretarial/clerical support to the Water Utilities Department (WUD) Director of Engineering. Work requires independent judgment and initiative. General supervision is received from an administrative superior who provides input on difficult or unusual circumstances.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduation from high school or an equivalent recognized certification; minimum of four (4) years of specialized secretarial work experience in engineering, utilities, or the construction industry.

PREFERENCE FOR EXPERIENCE: In a water/wastewater/reclaimed water utility (must specify on application); working for/on behalf of a utility/governmental entity; with bid letting/public government contracting; using Maximo; using MS Office Suite/Maximo. Also desirable: Knowledge of Florida Public Records Management (must specify on application).
