What you'll do

  • Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all areas are impeccably clean and well-maintained.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate housekeeping staff to deliver outstanding service and uphold quality standards.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules that optimize productivity while ensuring thorough floor care and janitorial practices.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring all resources are available for your team's success.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special cleaning projects and maintain a seamless guest experience.
  • Address any guest concerns or feedback promptly, turning challenges into opportunities for improvement.

Basic qualifications

  • Proven experience in housekeeping management within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care procedures, and industrial cleaning practices.

Preferred qualifications

  • Previous custodial or janitorial experience in a hotel or similar environment.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and engage a diverse team.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
