Location: Smart Turn Auto Repair – Columbia, MD

Starting Pay: $20.00/hour

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Benefits: Full benefits included

Overtime Availability: Additional hours Monday–Friday and Saturdays if desired

About the Position

We are seeking a reliable, punctual, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk Customer Service Representative. You will be the first impression of our shop, so a professional attitude and excellent customer service skills are essential. If you take pride in being on time, staying organized, and helping people feel welcome, we want to hear from you

Primary Job Duties

  • Answer phone calls and assist customers in a courteous, professional manner
  • Schedule appointments accurately using our shop management system
  • Greet customers upon arrival and check them in quickly and efficiently
  • Process payments at check-out (cash, credit/debit, etc.), additional administrative tasks as needed
  • Provide basic service information and communicate estimated wait times clearly
  • Maintain a clean, welcoming waiting area at all times
  • Refill popcorn machine and stock snacks and beverages for customers
  • Ensure every customer has a positive, professional experience from start to finish

What We Offer

  • $20/hour starting pay with opportunities for growth
  • Core hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Full benefits package, including:

  • Paid time off: 10 days annually (accrued per pay period) plus 4 paid holidays

  • Overtime available Monday–Friday and Saturdays if desired

  • Automotive knowledge or experience (preferred)
