Atlanta, Georgia, United States SKIM Full time $64,522 - $66,881 per year

Job Description
Do you enjoy turning data into stories that shape business decisions? Are you excited by the idea of helping global brands make smarter Communications choices? Do you thrive in an environment where collaboration, curiosity, and learning drive success? If so, join our Revenue Management & Pricing team in Atlanta, GA, as Market Insights Analyst in Communications

SKIM is a fast-growing marketing research consultancy with offices in the US, Europe, Asia and South America. For over 40 years, we have been trusted partners to the world's largest CPG, technology and healthcare brands. We specialize in modelling and understanding people's decision making in the areas of New Product Development, Brand Communication and Revenue Growth Management & Pricing. In our vision, a combination of methodological robustness, marketing domain expertise and understanding the client's business is the key to building lasting strategic partnerships with our clients.

As evidenced by our #3 position in GRIT's report of most innovative research agencies, we believe in continuously improving our solutions and expertise frameworks. But above all else, we believe in a culture where smart, ambitious and genuine people support each other, follow their dreams, balance priorities in life and bring everyone's unique skills together in a collaborative global community.

Job Description
As Market Insights Analyst, you'll begin your journey toward becoming an insights professional who translates data into clear, actionable recommendations. You'll support clients in optimizing Communications for their brands – for example, determining what package claim (or message) is most appealing to consumers of a soda brand.

You'll gain experience in every step of the research process, from design to delivery:

  • Brainstorming solutions and developing client proposals
  • Setting up research projects (including questionnaire creation, programming and technical setup)
  • Conducting modeling and data analysis
  • Translating insights into strategic recommendations
  • Partnering directly with clients

This role offers the opportunity to deepen your expertise in Communications methodologies, while working with a team that values curiosity, collaboration, and continuous growth.

Who You Are
You are analytical, curious, and eager to learn. You enjoy working with data, collaborating, and seeing how your insights impact real-world business decisions. The key skills for a SKIMmer working in consumer insights and consulting are:

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills: Asking the right questions to get to the core of the 'why', consider alternatives and think creatively to recommend the most impactful solution for our clients.
  • Numerical and analytical skills: You enjoy working with numbers, and you are comfortable working with big data files in Excel (or are excited to learn).
  • Empathy: You put consumers at the center of your thinking and seek to understand client challenges.
  • Collaboration: This is an essential part of SKIM's and each SKIMmer's success. You can work well in a team, build strong relationships and create meaningful connections with colleagues and clients. We expect you to support others, share knowledge, encourage each other's success, and build our SKIM community.
  • Strong communication: How else can we partner with clients and work as a team?

You're organized, detail-oriented, and open to learning from experience – including from mistakes. Familiarity with R, SPSS, or Excel is a plus. You likely hold a Bachelor's degree in Marketing Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Marketing, Business Analytics, or a related field, with 0-2 years of experience.

Salary And Benefits
We believe that great work happens when people feel valued, supported and empowered. That's why we offer more than just a salary. We create an environment where you can grow, thrive, and enjoy the journey. Here's what you can expect:

  • Annual base salary range: $64,522 - $66,781 (USD) for graduates to early-career professionals. Everyone joining at this level in this location starts within this fixed range to ensure fairness and transparency.
  • Structured salary growth tied to your annual performance review. Each year, you'll work with you Grow Perform Succeed (GPS) Manager to create a personalized development plan. At year-end, your GPS Manager evaluates your performance based on 360° feedback, and your performance score determines your salary increase – aligning growth with achievement.
  • Performance based rewards – Annual bonus based on individual and company success
  • Employer-paid medical, dental and vision coverage
  • 4% match on 401(k) to help you plan ahead
  • A team that enjoys the ride – regular outings, events, and a culture that celebrates wins together
  • A place where taking initiative isn't just encouraged. It's valued
  • A flat organizational structure where everyone is treated as equal regardless of any differences
  • Harmony between work and life
  • Casual dress code
  • A combination of learning through onboarding, active training programs, on-the-job learning and guidance from experienced SKIMmers
